Job summary

Valley-Wide Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a patient-focused Patient Service Representative to support front desk operations in Center, Colorado.

You will greet patients, check in/out, verify eligibility, collect co-pays, and ensure accurate EHR updates. You will schedule appointments, coordinate with care teams, respond to inquiries, confirm visits, handle portal enrollment, and assist with outreach for no-shows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of healthcare or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with EHR systems (NextGen/Epic/eClinicalWorks) preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred or required, depending on clinic location.
• BLS certification/training and certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients with professionalism and cultural sensitivity.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays.
• Schedule new and return visits based on provider templates and patient preference.
• Coordinate with care teams for labs, referrals, and imaging.
• Monitor schedules and address cancellations or overbooks; communicate changes.
• Respond to calls and patient inquiries promptly and accurately.
