You will work a full-time schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, handling telephone inquiries, insurance verification, and cash handling while upholding Northern Light Health standards and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• The Patient Services Representative role requires handling front-desk tasks, greeting and registering customers, and maintaining patient records to standard.
• Scheduling patient appointments, collecting co-pays, and managing telephone communications are essential duties.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional, courteous interactions with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients by telephone or in person in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Answers and directs phone calls, takes messages, and routes to appropriate staff.
• Schedules patient appointments and reschedules as needed.
• Documents all required information in patient charts and verifies insurance details.
• Collects co-pays and balances cash daily.
• Maintains patient files and updates records in the chart system.
• Ensures completeness and accuracy of patient files and documentation.
• Demonstrates safe behavior and maintains a clean work environment.
• Protects patient confidentiality at all times.
