Jane Pauley Community Health Center, Inc. is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, handling scheduling, registrations, and insurance verification across the JPCHC network.

This float role requires reliability to support multiple practice sites, with emphasis on delivering welcoming, efficient service in a community-focused clinic environment. The position supports patients in person and by phone, ensuring accurate data entry, eligibility

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of medical office practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• At least two years of ambulatory healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to travel between practice sites.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and assist patients and families professionally.
• Schedule appointments and manage inbound calls.
• Collect and verify patient demographics and insurance in the EHR.
• Determine eligibility for financial assistance and collect documentation.
• Collect co-payments and follow money handling procedures.
• Assist with medical record requests and correspondence within one business day.
• Maintain waiting area cleanliness and organization.
• Attend departmental and organizational meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
