Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical office practices is preferred.
• 2+ years of ambulatory healthcare experience preferred.
• Basic computer literacy and accurate data entry are required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients in person and by phone.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage inbound calls.
• Collect and verify demographics and insurance information in the EHR.
• Determine eligibility for financial assistance and obtain documentation.
• Collect co-payments and follow money-handling procedures.
• Assist with medical record requests and timely message responses.
• Maintain waiting area cleanliness and organization.
• Attend departmental and organizational meetings and perform other duties.
