TEKsystems is seeking a Patient Services Representative for a busy outpatient clinic in Baltimore, MD. You will register patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and support front desk functions to ensure a seamless patient experience.

The role is contract-to-hire, onsite with typical M-F hours (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM). Strong communication and customer service skills are essential to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years healthcare front desk experience.
• Experience with patient registration, scheduling, and insurance checks.
• Strong communication and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in a friendly, professional manner.
• Register patients in the EMR accurately.
• Check patients in/out for appointments.
• Verify insurance eligibility and demographics.
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments.
• Answer phone calls and address inquiries.
• Coordinate with providers to ensure timely visits.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Use Epic EMR or similar systems daily.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and families.
