Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health's Immediate Care of South Nashua is seeking a Patient Service Representative for part-time access. You will greet patients, register and schedule appointments, manage referrals, verify insurance data, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced setting.

This role emphasizes patient service, HIPAA compliance, and teamwork with Foundation Medical Partners. Fridays 9am-7pm and every other weekend 9am-6pm, part-time 20 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Knowledge of reception functions and administrative workflows.
• Understanding of medical terminology preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet, direct, register, check in, and check out patients in a professional manner.
• Answer calls, provide information, and schedule patient appointments.
• Enter, track, and manage referrals and authorizations.
• Collect, verify, and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Process registration forms and medical records accurately; balance daily copays.
• Assist with insurance requirements and communicate information to patients.
• Coordinate interpreter services when needed and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Stay current with system updates (EPIC) and participate in process improvements.
