Job summary

Proliance Surgeons is seeking a Patient Services Representative to be the face of the practice, handling patient check-in, scheduling, and insurance verification. The role involves coordinating with clinicians, assistants, and interpreters to ensure efficient patient flow and accurate record-keeping in EMR systems.

The position requires a high school diploma and 1-2 years in a public-facing role, preferably in a medical office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of public contact experience, preferably in medical office.
• Minimum 1 year front office or reception experience, medical preferred.
• Practice management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service in person and on the phone.
• Greet and direct patients, vendors, and visitors.
• Verify insurance eligibility and manage scheduling and check-in.
• Process information securely in EMR and practice management software.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Schedule appointments, follow-ups, and interpreters as needed.
