Job summary

Proliance Surgeons is seeking a Patient Services Representative (PSR) to be the face of our practice in the Puyallup area. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate records.

This on-site role blends call center and front desk duties, requires professionalism, HIPAA compliance, and excellent communication. Day-to-day work includes check-in, payments, and supporting a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or the Equivalent.
• 1-2 years relevant experience in public contact, preferably in medical office environment.
• Minimum 1-year front office or reception experience, medical preferred.
• Practice Management experience (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service, both in person and on the phone.
• Greet and direct patients, vendors, and visitors.
• Follows established protocols to schedule patient appointments, verify insurance, and manage records.
• Answers multiline phone system and screens calls; routes to appropriate staff.
• Enter patient information into practice management and EMR systems with accuracy.
• Assist patients with check-in and completion of paperwork.
• Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate patient flow.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and privacy regulations.
