Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Customer service experience required; medical office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; collect co-pays, pre-payments, insurance info, and photo ID.
• Verify and document insurance information.
• Accurate and timely scheduling of patients in the practice management systems.
• Communicate appointment details, directions, check-in times and copayments to patients.
• Prepare and manage patient charts; assist with outreach events.
• Maintain knowledge of health plan requirements and networks.
• Coordinate switchboard duties and interpreter support as needed.
