Job summary

Twin Cities Orthopedics in Edina is seeking a Patient Services Representative to handle patient registration and check-in, plus clinical support duties. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM at our Edina location.

You will greet and register patients, collect payments and insurance details, schedule appointments, and coordinate referrals, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and excellent patient communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Customer Service experience required.
• Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; collect co-payments and insurance information.
• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current practices.
• Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the practice management systems.
• Communicate appointment details and copayments to patients.
• Chart preparation and management including outreach preparation.
• Maintain knowledge of health plan requirements and networks.
• Maintain timely communication with patients, families, employers and staff.
• Rotation of Switchboard Operator duties: calls, interpreters, referrals.
• Other duties as assigned.
