Job summary

EvergreenHealth is seeking a Patient Services Rep (PSR) to be the first point of contact for patients in a fast-paced clinical environment. You will handle pre-registration, scheduling, check-in, billing processing, and care coordination to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Responsibilities include managing the scheduling workflow, validating insurance, guiding patients on the portal, and coordinating with clinical staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of customer service experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve and stay calm under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of patient scheduling and appointments.
• Manage multi-line telephone system and direct urgent calls appropriately.
• Explain and verify insurance coverage and patient financial responsibilities.
• Enroll patients in patient portal and educate on its use.
• Handle patient communications and outreach per protocols.
• Assist with open/close duties and clinic operations.
• Support health information management and chart requests.
