Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) to be the first point of contact for patients at the Henderson clinic. The role focuses on excellent customer/patient satisfaction, including greeting, check-in/out, and verifying patient information.

Responsibilities include scheduling, data entry in the EMR, handling payments, and assisting patients with forms and insurance coordination where needed. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver the highest level of customer/patient satisfaction.
• Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and PHI of patients, members, and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in/out patients by phone or in person and schedule appointments.
• Resolve patient needs by delivering a superior customer experience during intake and care.
• Document all calls accurately in the EMR.
• Register patients and verify required demographic data.
• Collect payments and explain financial assistance as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow billing procedures.
