Job summary

EvergreenHealth is seeking a patient services coordinator to serve as the first contact for patients in a fast-paced clinic environment. You will handle scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and billing-related tasks to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Responsibilities include managing phone queues, coordinating care with clinical teams, and supporting patient communications and outreach efforts. A high school diploma and 1 year of customer service experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of patient scheduling and manage appointments.
• Handle multi-line telephone system and direct urgent calls.
• Verify insurance coverage in multiple systems and educate patients on costs.
• Enroll patients on the patient portal and explain its use.
• Assist with paperwork and check-in process; coordinate communications between staff.
