Job summary

Key duties include managing a multi-line phone system, coordinating referrals and patient messages, enrolling patients on the portal and explaining insurance basics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve and stay calm under pressure.
• Strong written communication and legibility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient scheduling and manage appointments.
• Answer multi-line phone system and direct callers appropriately.
• Verify insurance coverage and educate on co-pays / self-pay.
• Enroll patients on the patient portal and explain its benefits.
• Prepare and send patient outreach communications.
• Manage referrals and communications with clinics and insurers.
