Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System is seeking a Day Shift, Full-Time Patient Services Rep in Muskogee, OK to join Utica Park Clinic. The role combines customer service, insurance verification, registration, payments, and medical records management to ensure smooth patient flow.

You will greet patients, collect accurate information, enter data, verify coverage, and assist with scheduling. This team-focused position emphasizes clear communication, reliability, and adherence to our patient-first policies

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written/verbal/telephone communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Basic understanding of insurance, referrals, and medical records.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring patient flow, medical record availability and completeness, scheduling physician/provider appointments, and maintenance of physician appointment schedules.
• Receives and greets patients and visitors, ascertaining their needs and assisting them in a timely and courteous manner. Answers the telephone promptly in a customer-friendly manner.
• Collects and verifies accurate patient information and enters it into the registration system. Receives payment for services and correctly completes charge slips for data entry.
• C ommitted to being a team player by performing all duties as required or assigned to provide quality patient care.
