Ardent Health Services in Muskogee, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Patient Services Rep (PSR) to handle registration, insurance verification, and scheduling.

You will greet patients, collect and verify information, enter data, and coordinate with providers while upholding Hillcrest policies and providing courteous service. This role blends customer service, data entry, and medical office tasks within a multi-faceted team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent written/verbal/telephone communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Basic understanding of insurance, referrals, and medical records.

Responsibilities

• Multi-faceted position including customer service, insurance verification, registration, payment collection, data entry, and referrals.
• Ensure patient flow and medical record availability and completeness; schedule physician/provider appointments and maintain appointment schedules.
• Greet patients and visitors, answer phones promptly, collect and verify accurate patient information, and enter it into the system.
• Receive payment for services and complete charge slips for data entry.
• Uphold Hillcrest Healthcare System policies and procedures while delivering quality patient care.

Get to Know Your Team:

• Utica Park Clinic, founded in 1982, is a multi-specialty medical group with more than 300 employed physicians and advanced practice providers representing over 25 specialties across 80 plus clinics in Oklahoma.

• This is a Multi-faceted position consisting of customer service, insurance verification, registration, payment collection, data entry, and referrals.
• Responsible for ensuring patient flow, medical record availability and completeness, scheduling physician/provider appointments, and maintenance of physician appointment schedules.
• Receives and greets patients and visitors, ascertaining their needs and assisting them in a timely and courteous manner. Answers the telephone promptly in a customer-friendly manner.
• Collects and verifies accurate patient information and enters it into the registration system. Receives payment for services and correctly completes charge slips for data entry.
• Committed to being a team player by performing all duties as required or assigned to provide quality patient care.
• The individual will also have responsibility to uphold the policies and procedures of Hillcrest Healthcare System.

Job Requirements:
