Job summary

Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, NC is seeking a Patient Service Associate to support clinic prep, patient check-in/out, and appointment scheduling. The role involves customer service, message distribution, and referrals management to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of work experience in directly communicating and providing service to patients or the public.
• Experience coordinating multiple tasks or activities.
• Strong communication skills both oral and written.
• Ability to verify and enter patient information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate duties with daily clinic preparation and patient check-in/out.
• Handle charge posting, cash management and appointment scheduling.
• Provide customer service and distribute messages and referrals as needed.
• Prepare and file patient documents; coordinate labs and procedures.
• Explain billing policies and collect co-payments from patients.
