Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1+ years in a medical office, and strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency with basic computer tasks and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of recent medical office experience preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer functions and able to learn new software quickly.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm is preferred.
• Must maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional appearance.

Responsabilités

• Performs opening and closing clinic duties.
• Greet patients, check in for appointments and verify insurance.
• Scan documents into the electronic health record.
• Maintain tidiness of waiting area and reception counter.
• Check schedules for added, canceled, and no-show appointments.
• Schedule follow-ups as needed and manage tasks in the EHR.
• Order clinic supplies and assist with other front-desk duties.
