Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a friendly, organized Patient Service Representative to greet patients, verify information, and schedule appointments across satellite offices. You will handle phone inquiries, assist with registrations, and support billing and insurance verifications in a fast-paced health care environment.

The role requires high school level education, strong English communication, and basic computer skills. Prior PSR experience is preferred; travel to satellite offices may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with office software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets visitors, patients and families in a friendly, professional manner and directs them appropriately.
• Maintains efficient patient flow during registration and provides excellent customer service.
• Answers phones promptly and routes calls with proper etiquette.
• Schedules appointments and processes insurance verifications and patient demographics.
• Performs clerical duties including data entry, filing and basic billing tasks.
