Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join a physician-led network focused on high-quality, connected care. You will support the care team with registration, scheduling, and patient communications, ensuring smooth office operations and patient satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma (Associate preferred), experience with PSR roles, and proficiency with EHR and office software. A customer-focused approach and clear English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school completion required; associate degree preferred.
• Previous PSR experience is an asset.
• Strong customer service and English communication skills.
• Familiarity with EHR and practice management software recommended.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and families with professional courtesy.
• Maintain patient flow and accurate registration information.
• Answer calls, relay messages, and provide excellent service.
• Update patient demographics and insurance in the system.
• Process payments, issue receipts, and reconcile cash daily.
• Assist with scheduling, referrals, and pre-authorizations as needed.
