Kessler Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to manage front office operations at 563 Northfield Ave, West Orange, NJ. The role requires scheduling, reception, and data handling to support patient care and clinic reporting.

We value patient-focused service, accuracy in medical records, and teamwork. Flexible hours include mornings and evenings, with occasional Saturdays, and a competitive hourly compensation of $20–$24 based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years in medical office setting with multitasking preferred.
• Knowledge of health insurance preferred.
• Basic computer skills: keyboard, word processing, filing and general office procedures.
• Customer service and interpersonal skills necessary to interact with staff, patients, physicians and community members.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer front office activities, including patient scheduling and reception.
• Prepare medical records, clinic statistics, and reports; collect data for demographics and payers.
• Obtain and track authorizations; collect, reconcile and prepare daily deposits for cash.
• Maintain clear communication with patients, staff, physicians and referral sources.
