Qualifications

• One year clerical and/or receptionist experience in hospital or medical clinic.
• Computer/typing skills; read, speak and write English; follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Manage phone customer service and direct calls with professional etiquette.
• Handle patient information including demographics and insurance verification.
• Schedule appointments and process pre-registrations and referrals/authorizations.
• Use multiple systems (scheduling, PACS, PowerScribe, Cerner) with accuracy.
• Perform various clerical tasks as needed by the department.
