Job summary

Elica Health Centers is seeking a Patient Service Center Representative to be the initial contact for patients, partners, and vendors. You will assist with scheduling appointments, updating demographics and insurance data, verify eligibility, and relay messages to the appropriate internal staff.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, experience with EHR software (EPIC), a background in call center work, and knowledge of healthcare terminology. Bilingual Russian is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Russian is highly preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) software, preferably EPIC.
• Experience working in a call center environment.
• Knowledge of healthcare terminology.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments via inbound and outbound calls.
• Register new patients and update demographics and insurance information.
• Verify health plan eligibility and benefits during patient interactions.
• Take messages and deliver to appropriate staff; transfer calls as needed.
• Document patient concerns and coordinate with clinical teams.
