Job summary

Elica Health Centers is seeking a Dental Receptionist to welcome patients, answer calls, schedule appointments, and keep the front desk organized in a fast-paced dental office. You will support the EPIC Wisdom system and dental scheduling, collaborate with clinicians, and ensure a positive patient experience.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, BLS certification, at least 1 year in a dental setting, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience in dental setting preferred.
• Experience with EPIC Wisdom or dental scheduler preferred.
• Knowledge of Medi-Cal and payer terminology is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Ability to communicate in a respectful and professional manner.
• Maintain a positive environment focused on patient care.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily production targets.

Responsibilities

• The Dental Receptionist will answer phone calls, greet patients, schedule appointments, maintain front desk appearance, and perform clerical tasks.
• Coordinate and organize appointments and administration to facilitate efficient running of the dental office.
