Job summary

The University of Vermont Center for Health and Wellbeing (CHWB) Patient Services Representative is the first point of contact for students seeking care. The PSR schedules appointments, provides information to students, staff, and departments, and supports data management for CHWB.

The PSR collaborates with counselors, providers, and administrative staff to ensure smooth access to services, maintain confidentiality, and promote an inclusive environment across campus.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of administrative office support experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records is preferred.
• Ability to organize work priorities, plan, and adhere to structured regulations.
• Ability to communicate interpersonally and sensitively to human concerns.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and manage CHWB patient flow.
• Provide information to students, staff and university departments about health services.
• Support data management and scheduling data for CHWB.
• Collaborate with counselors, providers and staff to troubleshoot issues and assign appropriate appointments.
• Assist in promoting an inclusive environment for all students and staff.
