Job summary

Community Health Centers of Burlington is seeking a Patient Services Representative in Burlington, VT. This in-office role focuses on high-quality patient service, appointment scheduling, and accurate data entry using EPIC.

You will coordinate with clinicians, assist with patient outreach, and manage front-desk tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include pre/post-visit planning, patient questions, and multi-line phone handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior related field experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to handle conflict calmly.
• Excellent data entry and MS Office proficiency.
• Clear communication and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to stay motivated and organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work across multiple locations and service lines.

Salary Range: $21.00 To $26.23 Hourly

The Patient Services Representative (PSR) is responsible for providing high-quality customer service to patients, co-workers, and all visitors to CHC. Some, but not all, requirements of this position are pre/post-visit planning, patient outreach, appointment scheduling, efficiently managing clinical patient flow, patient registration, coordinating with clinical staff and answering patient questions, administrative tasks, managing multiple phone lines systems and using the Electronic Health Records systems EPIC.

Please note: This position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work-it is in office 100% of the time.

Positions available: Riverside-1 and Winooski-1

A) Education & Experience:

• HighSchoolDiplomaorGED
• Prior experience in a related field preferred
• High-levelcustomerserviceskills, including theabilitytomaintainaneventoneinthefaceofconflict.
• Goodcomputerskills, including accurate data entry and the ability to use Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook,aswellaselectronicschedulingsystems.
