Job summary

The University of Vermont's Center for Health and Wellbeing seeks a Patient Services Representative to be the first contact for students seeking care. You will schedule appointments, provide information to students and staff, and help build CHWB schedules in collaboration with counselors and providers.

You will support data management, assist in coordinating follow-ups, and answer questions about charges while maintaining confidentiality and promoting inclusivity across the university community.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of administrative office support experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records preferred.
• Ability to organize work priorities and adhere to structured regulations.
• Ability to communicate interpersonally and sensitively with human concerns.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and provide information to students, staff, and departments by phone and in person.
• Assist in building clinical schedules and coordinate with counselors, providers, and other health care professionals.
• Provide data management and support to CHWB staff and promote login/online scheduling.
• Answer questions about CHWB charges and services; guide access to care.
• Promote an inclusive environment for all students and staff and support CHWB mission.
