Qualifications

• 1 year experience performing billing, patient registration, and scheduling, medical insurance verification, insurance screening.
• Broad clinic knowledge and customer service skills; Microsoft Office experience (Word & Excel) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients and complete registration accurately using the department system.
• Collect and verify demographic and insurance information to ensure accuracy.
• Verify insurance eligibility and pre-authorization/referral information; discuss costs with families as needed.
• Collect co-payments and deposits; maintain cash controls and meet collection targets.
• Maintain office files, respond to inquiries, and support department operations as needed.
