Job summary

AbsoluteCare in Kentucky is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to manage patient flow, greet patients, and advocate for effective communication and visits in the office. You will coordinate scheduling and assist with front-desk operations to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Responsibilities include verifying benefits, collecting copays, managing data in the Practice Management System (eCW), and coordinating with the clinical team to support patient engagement and retention.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a patient-facing role is preferred.
• Experience with eCW EMR is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service when greeting patients and visitors.
• Check patients in and out for appointments in a timely manner.
• Verify insurance benefits and referral requirements.
• Collect copays, coinsurance, and deductibles.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments for the multi-disciplinary team.
• Manage patient data in the practice management system (EMR).
• Answer calls and route to appropriate staff.
• Assist patients with insurance and financial transactions.
