Responsibilities

• Answer the telephone and route calls in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
• Schedule, cancel, reschedule and confirm patient visits according to office procedures.
• Collect deductible/co-insurance, co-pays or balances at time of service.
• Balance charges and payments with daily reports and correct as needed.
• Register patients in Epic and collect demographic and insurance information.
• Handle routine billing questions and forward research questions to the financial counselor.
