Job summary

• Knowledge of patient scheduling, pre-authorization, pre-certification and referral processes.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and insurance concepts is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication; ability to interact with diverse customers.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all aspects of patient care including registration, referrals, procedures and surgeries.
• Handle patient financial account services, benefit assessment and insurance verification.
• Perform documentation in EPIC accurately and timely.
• Maintain professionalism aligned with Mercy standards.
