Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Patient Services Representative I/II to join our Georgetown East location. This full-time role supports front-office operations including scheduling, insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and patient counseling on billing matters.

Under supervision, you will assist patients and families with resources and ensure accurate appointments while maintaining confidentiality in a busy medical office. Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm, with no weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–3 years of medical business office experience (Level 1).
• 3–5 years medical business office experience (Level 2).

Responsibilities

• Efficiently schedules new and returning patients and manages referrals.
• Verifies insurance and eligibility; obtains pre-authorizations as needed.
• Counsels patients and families on insurance and payment issues; assists with financial resources.
• Maintains confidentiality and supports front-office policies and procedures.
