Qualifications

• Customer service and front office experience in medical settings.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy standards.
• Scheduling and appointment coordination are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
• Check patients in and out, updating demographic and insurance information.
• Collect copays and payments according to procedures.
• Verify insurance information and complete required documentation.
• Schedule follow-up appointments, imaging, procedures, referrals, and other needs.
• Coordinate outside imaging, procedures, referrals, and records requests.
• Reschedule appointments and communicate changes clearly.
• Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA.
• Support providers and staff with daily front office needs.
• Keep work areas organized and ensure timely handling of documents.
