Job summary

Responsibilities include greeting patients, collecting copayments, scheduling follow-ups, assisting with insurance verification, and guiding patients to MyUPMC portal and other services.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience with personal computer-based applications and office equipment; typing skills preferred.
• Two years of medical, billing, fiscal, or customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

• Completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience with personal computer-based applications, various office equipment, and proficient typing skills preferred.
• Two years of experience in a medical, billing, fiscal, or customer service role preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Prior experience with Medipac, Epic, or other health records systems preferred.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, Act 73.
