UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics in Wexford is seeking a Limited Part-Time Patient Services Representative to support front desk operations during the evenings and weekends. You will greet patients, collect copays, schedule follow-ups, and register patients in the Epic system while promoting the MyUPMC portal.

UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics is hiring a Limited Part-Time Patient Services Representative to support the offices in Wexford.

Weekend and evening availability required to support the hours of operation.

Clinic Hours: 4:30p-9p mon-fri 11:30a-8p sat, 9:30a-6p sun

Registration And EPIC Experience Preferred.

• Patient Interaction: Greet patients, assist with check-in, collect copayments, and update information.
• Scheduling: Arrange follow-up appointments and connect patients to services.
• Support: Help patients navigate the healthcare system and provide clear instructions.
• Technology: Register patients in Biometrics and promote MyUPMC portal.
• Financial Advocacy: Educate patients on financial responsibilities and connect them to resources.
• Compliance: Verify insurance, obtain consent signatures, and follow HIPAA regulations.
• Admin Tasks: Handle phone calls, scan records, and perform office duties.
• Completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience with personal computer-based applications, various office equipment, and proficient typing skills preferred.
• Two years of experience in a medical, billing, fiscal, or customer service role preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Prior experience with Medipac, Epic, or other health records systems preferred.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, Act 73.
