Job summary

VIP Medical Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist to support our Woodbridge, Morristown, and Morris County locations. You will greet patients, triage the visitor flow, and ensure a smooth and welcoming experience across our clinics.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet registered patients and triage through the patient flow process to ensure a smooth visit.
• Monitor clinical equipment and escalate issues to the supervisor as needed.
• Answer phones and emails, respond to inquiries, and triage calls to appropriate personnel.
• Fulfill clerical tasks such as sending/receiving/scanning medical records and managing the charting process.
• Collect co-payments and verify insurance in the EMR system.

This role will be assisting our locations in Woodbridge, Morristown and Morris County, NJ .

What you'll do

• Greet registered patients upon their visit, triage patients through the patient flow process, and ensure a smooth experience.


• Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of clinical equipment, promptly escalating issues to the supervisor.


• Answer phones, emails, respond to inquiries, and triage calls to appropriate personnel.


• Fulfill clerical responsibilities, such as sending/receiving/scanning medical records, obtaining diagnostic reports and managing the charting process.


• Collect co-payments, update EMR system, insurance verification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.


• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Receptionist preferred.


• Customer service-oriented mindset.


• EMR systems (1 year preferred)

The pay range for this role is:
