Job summary

Pscfl is seeking a Customer Service professional to greet patients and families, collect demographic and payer information, and schedule or register patients for services. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and effective communication.

The candidate will obtain authorizations/referrals and collect payments as required, while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and EMTALA guidelines. Monday–Friday on-site in a medical office setting.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years customer service experience.
• Fluent in Spanish preferred.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families in person or on the telephone.
• Obtain demographic, third party payer information, financial information, medical information, and identification to schedule or register the patient for services.
• Obtain authorization, referrals, and collect payments as required.
• Verify third party payer information and seek necessary authorization or referrals.
• Document all activity in the patient records and QA system.
• Schedule physician or hospital services and confirm appointments.
