Job summary

PSCFL in Miami seeks a Customer Service professional to greet patients and families, collect required information, and register for services. You will obtain authorizations/referrals and collect payments as needed, ensuring accurate data entry and clear communication with departments.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, patient service, and timely scheduling. Spanish language skills are preferred and on-call shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Fluent in Spanish preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and families in person or on the telephone.
• Obtains demographic, third party payer information, financial/medical information, and ID to schedule/register.
• Obtains authorization, referrals, and collects payments as required.
• Verifies payer information and seeks appropriate authorization/referral.
• Documents all activity in the computer system.
• Schedules physician or hospital services and confirms appointments.
