Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in Marlton, NJ is seeking an experienced patient access representative to greet patients, perform full registration, and support the arrival process across multiple locations.

You will manage scheduling, verify demographics and insurance, collect co-pays, and communicate with patients and care teams using MyChart messaging and front desk systems. Strong organization and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent registration or billing experience in a medical facility preferred.
• Proficiency in patient registration, scheduling, medical insurance pre-certifications, authorizations and referrals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guests using AIDET; provide excellent patient service.
• Perform full registration and update demographics, insurance information and signatures.
• Make appointments including follow-ups across healthcare continuum.
• Collect co-pays and reconcile cash drawer; perform non-clinical admin duties.
• Backlog management, front desk pool outreach and MyChart messaging support.
• Communicate with multidisciplinary teams and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
