Job summary

Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor is seeking a Patient Services Intermediate to support health record workflows, template changes, and data entry. You will review records, organize health records in EHR systems, and coordinate with physicians, clinics, and billing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a related role.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Demonstrates teamwork and problem-solving initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead review and processing of permanent and temporary template changes across locations.
• Ensure alignment with CBT and ACOC guidelines and scheduling goals.
• Provide back-up coverage and participate in meetings as needed.
• Review incoming patient records for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Organize and maintain health records in EHR and paper files.
• Retrieve and process medical records for physicians, clinics, billing, or external requests.
• Monitor record completion and follow up on missing documentation.
• Train others as needed.
