Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with basic office tasks, phones, filing, data entry and computer skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurance payers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and caregivers and provide assistance reflecting high-quality service.
• Verify and update demographic data in the electronic health record and identify barriers to communication or payment.
• Accurately gather information to complete requirements in medical records, referrals, billing and treatment.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments and adjust as needed.
