Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent; medical admin cert a plus.
• Experience: 1+ year in a medical office or healthcare setting.
• Skills: strong communication, attention to detail, multitasking.
• Technical: proficient with EMR systems, EPIC preferred.
• Flexibility: able to work 12-hour shifts, some weekends/holidays.
• Team player: proactive, friendly, patient-focused.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors with a positive attitude.
• Maintain confidentiality for patient and business documents.
• Verify insurance benefits, eligibility, and explain policies.
• Determine and collect patient financial responsibility.
• Support practice manager, providers, and staff for smooth operations.
