Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of customer engagement experience required.
• Healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• BLS certification within first 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Gathers, updates and verifies registration and insurance information; ensures accurate entry into EMR.
• Provides information to patients on selecting care providers and verifies eligibility for services.
• Schedules appointments and coordinates referrals per policy.
• Assists with payments and co-pays; reconciles end-of-shift totals.
• Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; supports PHI management.
