RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Patient Services Rep to support the Monmouth Heart & Vascular department. You will greet patients, manage check-in/check-out, and coordinate visits with doctors and staff.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, organization, and accurate record-keeping in a fast-paced environment. Training provided; meets NJ wage transparency requirements. Hours are typically day shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with relevant experience or training.
• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• EMR systems knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and performing check-in/check-out with professionalism and compassion.
• Reviewing schedules and ensuring necessary information is available for visits.
• Scheduling appointments and coordinating follow-up visits.
• Answering routine questions in person and by phone with exceptional service.
• Performing clerical tasks including copying, scanning, faxing, sorting, and mail distribution.
• Creating and maintaining patient health records.
• Coordinating with insurance providers and handling pre-authorizations.
