Job summary

Cooper University Health Care is seeking a patient access/front desk representative in Voorhees Township, NJ. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, accurate registration and scheduling, and positive patient interactions at the point of service.

You will greet and register patients, collect copays, and provide general information to patients and families while supporting discharge coordination as a non-clinical navigator.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of recent registration or billing experience in a medical facility preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register and schedule patients at the front desk.
• Serve as the front line contact for all incoming patients; provide information to patients and families.
• Collect point-of-service copays and coordinate patient flow using AIDET principles.
• Act as patient navigator during discharge coordination.
• Maintain organized front-desk operations and collaborate with care teams.
