Signature Health Inc. is seeking a Patient Services Representative in Ohio to deliver excellent patient support, register patients accurately, and verify insurance coverage in the EHR. You will handle scheduling and financial interactions, ensuring a smooth patient experience from arrival through checkout.

The role requires strong communication, familiarity with Epic EHR, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. English fluency is essential, Spanish is a plus, and a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year office, customer service, or related experience required. Medical office experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a primary care or behavioral health setting preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance, specifically Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid preferred.
• Experience working with an EHR system required; EPIC experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
• Fluency in English; Spanish language proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and maintain insurance information in the EHR.
• Schedule all available services and manage provider/clinician schedules.
• Collect copayments and explain financial responsibility; refer to financial assistance when needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Provide administrative support such as scanning, faxing, and mailing.
• Operate Epic and other platforms proficiently.
