Job summary

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is seeking Medical Support Assistants to support the San Bruno VA Clinic at 1001 Sneath Ln, Suite 300, San Bruno, CA 94066. Responsibilities include scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments, providing front office support, and handling phone calls in a clinic or call center setting.

Candidates should have strong English communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to work Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm with possible weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Speak clearly, hear, and write English.
• Log in and type 40-50 wpm with minimal errors.
• Proficient with standard office software.
• Handle high-volume phone and computer tasks.
• Familiarity with medical/hospital terminology.
• Will be trained on VA policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments and/or consults; enter no-show information; prep for visits.
• Provide general reception support in ROI offices at medical centers.
• Scan insurance cards and protect sensitive information; complete insurance buffer encounters.
• Scan records into an EMR to support HIM functions at medical centers.
• Make outbound and take inbound calls.
• Review travel reimbursement requests and reconcile claims using electronic systems.
• Review ambulance claims for eligibility and payment.
