Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required; Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• 2-3 years of specialty clinic experience, gastroenterology experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred, but not required.

Aufgaben

• Answer incoming calls and provide high level patient care and customer service.
• Schedule, reschedule, and manage cancellations and no-shows for visits and procedures.
• Maintain and update physician schedules and endoscopy block times per availability.
• Collect and record accurate patient information per documentation requirements.
• Ensure procedures are scheduled in endoscopy suites and coordinate hospital scheduling if needed.
• Mail/email information packets to new patients and respond to portal inquiries.
• Provide information to patients about medical treatments or procedures as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and participate in training and QA activities.
