Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Columbia, SC, is hiring a full-time Patient Services Lead to coordinate patient meal service, manage requests, and ensure staff readiness in the Patient Dining Program.

You will supervise Patient Dining Associates, collaborate with caregivers and the culinary team on menu options for allergies and cultural needs, and ensure compassionate service with attention to nutrition and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare food service or patient care preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Oversees systems and processes to meet program objectives.
• Supervise Patient Dining Associates and assist with meal tray delivery.
• Coordinate menu options for allergies, cultural, and religious needs.
• Interact with nursing staff to evaluate daily patient meal selections.
• Communicate issues promptly to appropriate personnel per procedures.
• Assist dietitians with patients on specific diets or calories.
• Adhere to HIPAA and facility confidentiality policies.
• Follow HACCP and other health/sanitation regulations.
