Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring for a part-time Patient Services Lead at a hospital setting in Seneca, SC. The role coordinates patient meal service, ensures staff are trained, and supports compassionate dining in the Patient Dining Program.

You'll supervise dining associates, help with menu selections for allergies or preferences, and work with nursing to ensure timely meal delivery and accuracy. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Previous food service and supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate and read documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, and operation and maintenance instructions.
• The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, as well as push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Oversees systems and processes to ensure the Patient Dining Program service objectives are met.
• Supervise Patient Dining Associates and ensure they provide menu selection, assembly, and meal tray delivery/pick-up.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, or special requests.
• Interact with nursing staff to evaluate daily patient meal selections and tray delivery processes.
• Communicate problems or concerns to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on restricted diets.
